D A S A H L B E C K invites guests to a harvest festival
Next Saturday, 3 October 2009, DAS AHLBECK HOTEL & SPA is organizing for the second time a harvest festival from 3.00 pm to late to which everyone is invited, not only those who are interested to look at the hotel, but also those who wish to celebrate the good harvest.
Dr. Hans Warnke of the Rankwitz Heritage Museum has agreed to participate who brings with him "Dei Lieper Winkelschen Danzlüh". In addition to regional dances that are known beyond the island, the men and women dressed in the traditional customes of the Lieper Winkel will demonstrate some old handicrafts and share some interesting information about the region's agriculture. The children from the Bansin Tai Jitsu club will provide an exciting addition to the programme.
The Bansin line dancers will provide even more variety and besides demonstrating their skills they invite all interested guests to a dance workshop directly on the promenade.
Guests will discover what they can do with the rich variety of the harvest produce besides preparing delicious meals from our Wellness team. In addition on the hour guests can join in a guided tour of the modern hotel with its 1200 m² wellness area.
A couple of notable Usedom craftsmen will present their work such as Pommernkeramik from Mellenthin and the beekeeper Lothar Wilke.
A large harvest buffet will ensure the wellbeing of guests in the evening with delicacies prepared in the show kitchen. Table reservations can be made under 038378/49 940. The varied autumn programme will sound out with a country concert by the Two Blue Notes.
